Anneberg School is located in the locality of Anneberg, a community with just over 800 inhabitants, with good bus connections to both Nässjö and Eksjö. The school offers preschool class, primary school grades 1-6, and after-school care. The school has about 35 staff and 200 students from Anneberg, Solberga, Flisby, and the surrounding countryside.

The school is centrally located in Anneberg with proximity to nature. It has access to a full-sized sports hall and a gathering space, as well as a large schoolyard with forest areas, football fields, a bandy field, and an obstacle course. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a special teacher or special educator, you are an important part of the school's student health team, together with our special teacher focusing on reading and writing, a counselor, school nurse, school psychologist, and principal. The team's main task is to work preventively and promote students' well-being and opportunities to succeed in their studies. You will closely collaborate with the school's special teacher focusing on reading and writing.

Your responsibilities primarily include the following:

• Contribute special educational expertise at the organizational level and in the school's development work.
• Investigate students' needs for special support and assist in mapping at the group level.
• Work with special support at the group and individual levels.
• Collaborate with teachers to establish and evaluate action plans.
• Provide support and advice to teachers and other educational staff on how to adapt working methods to increase students' learning opportunities.
• Collaborate with students' guardians, teachers, other student health personnel, and external actors.
• Lead and develop the work in the school's flexible group.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Professional Background
We are looking for someone who:

• is a qualified special teacher or special educator, or is currently in training leading to qualification in special education.
• has a teaching license with authorization to work in primary school and at least a few years of professional experience as a primary school teacher.
• has competence and experience with students with neuropsychiatric functional variations and challenging behavior.

Personal Characteristics
You express yourself well in both speech and writing and have a good ability for pedagogical documentation. You have a strong ability to build relationships and collaborate with colleagues, students, guardians, and external actors. You want to develop an accessible learning environment for all students and advance the school's student health work to the next level. You have a positive view of students based on the belief that they want to and can learn. You are responsible, structured, and self-driven. You are flexible and have the ability to see opportunities and solutions.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Experience working as a special teacher or special educator in primary school is an advantage.
